Pete & Karen Collins are a husband/wife real estate team who assist people with buying and selling homes throughout the Twin Cities. Their primary goals are to provide outstanding communication, honesty, and professionalism to each client they work with.  These attributes were acknowledged as Karen was recognized as one of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business Magazine’s Super Real Estate Agents of 2007.  Pete and Karen met in 1994 when they were employed at Godfather's Pizza during their college years and married in 2003.  They reside in Spring Lake Park with their cats, Freddie and Molly.

   Pete was born and raised in St. Anthony Village, MN and graduated from St. Anthony Village High School in 1993. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Communications from the U of MN Twin Cities (go Gophers!) in 1998 and immediately began his career in sales. Some of his former employers include WCCO Radio, 93X FM, and Waddell & Reed Financial Services. In 2003, Pete followed his interest in the real estate market and became a licensed real estate appraiser, before transitioning into real estate sales.  Pete's interests/hobbies include hockey both playing and watching, golfing, fantasy football, reading, cooking/grilling, and running/working out.

                                                    Karen Collins

   Karen was born in Minneapolis, MN, where she spent the first 10 years of her life. In 1985, she & her parents decided to make a move to the 'burbs, living in Coon Rapids for 6 years and New Brighton thereafter. She graduated from Irondale High School in 1993 and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the U of MN Twin Cities in 1998. Karen worked in healthcare for nearly 8 years, assisting psychiatrists and medical staff in both a hospital and a physicians' private practice and later transitioned into senior care where she performed HR, marketing, and admissions work.  In 2006, Karen made the leap from the emotional stresses of healthcare to a partnership with her husband in real estate sales. Karen feels her experience in healthcare and her educational background give her the skills needed to understand and assist her clients in one of life's biggest events: buying or selling a home. Karen's interests/hobbies include running, watching reality tv shows, reading, spending time with family/friends, volunteering at a local hospital, golfing, and meeting new people. Karen was a 2007 Super Real Estate Agent in the Mpls/St. Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business Magazine and feels that its an honor to be recognized in such a great way!
